The Designer
I’ve been a designer since 2006. When we remodeled our house in 2004, I loved the design process it took going from a 1500 sq ft home to a 2500 sq ft home. Once our home was done, my friends and neighbors asked if I could help them with their home. After working for free for several months, I realized I had the beginning of a small business. I named my business Sofie D Designs after my two children, Sofia & Drew. They inspired me to find a balance between work & family so I could do both with quality attention.
My projects range from large to small, and I treat each project with the same passion and expertise regardless of size. I design the space in a home or office using color, texture, accent pieces, and a client’s personal style. Interior design can be working with the existing features of a home or a complete renovation. First, you need a vision of what’s possible. Then, you need a plan for the next steps.
